Honoring King Randall
Join The Path Forward for our inaugural Juneteenth Awards honoring King Randall this June 21 at 8 PM ET via Facebook Live and YouTube.
Randall, a recent guest of The Path Forward’s monthly sacred listening events, is the founder of The X for Boys. “The X” is a youth organization that provides life skills and trades training and a safe, supportive space for young men ages 11-17. Randall founded the organization as a 19-year old in his home community of Albany, GA. Just two years later, he has built a thriving, growing youth organization that has yielded remarkable results for its participants and is set to open The X for Boys Life Preparatory School in Fall 2021.
A key focus of The Path Forward is to highlight work being done to uplift black communities. TPF’s Juneteenth Awards specifically recognize an individual/s who has achieved measurable, transformational, positive outcomes for black communities around at least one of our six areas of focus. The award honors leaders that are taking a results-oriented approach to progress, looking beyond the who, to the what in pursuit of truth. Randall’s efforts are an extraordinary example of this approach in the area of education reform and evidence of his unique commitment to positive change. We are proud to honor King Randall as our inaugural Juneteenth Award-winner for his inspiring efforts to impact the lives of so many young people.
